When Agnes was a teenager she developed her own particular style of writing. I don’t mean in content, rather, in form. It was about the time she decided to write her will. Many of us do at that age. Mortality often begins then. Although sometimes dwelt upon a little too often, Agnes found an outlet for the potential morbidity in her writing. The new style of letters she created affirmed her existence. Her right to life, her self, the very breath and pulse of her.
